Requirements
As a program of excellence, Neurasmus seeks candidates with a strong academic foundation, dedication to neuroscience, and the skills necessary to succeed in an interdisciplinary environment. Applicants must demonstrate their ability to excel in rigorous coursework and research opportunities.
Language Requirements
Since all courses are taught in English, a strong command of the language is essential. Applicants must provide proof of proficiency through recognized tests such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent certifications. Exemptions may apply for native English speakers or those who have completed prior education in English.
- IELTS (Academic Test): 6.5 (with no score below 6)
- TOEFL: Paper-based 580 / Computer-based 237 / Internet-based 93
- Certificate of Advanced English: B/C
- Certificate of Proficiency in English: B/C
The test must have been completed no more than two years before the course starts. Please note that Primary and Secondary Education certificates or 1-year exchange programme documentation are not accepted as English certificates.
Educational Background
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in natural sciences or a related field. This includes, but is not limited to, biology, chemistry, medicine, or psychology. A solid understanding of fundamental concepts in biology, chemistry, and mathematics is essential for success in the program.
GPA Transcript & Grades
Applicants are required to submit their academic transcripts, showcasing a strong academic record. A minimum GPA equivalent to the program’s requirements is expected. Candidates should ensure their grades reflect proficiency in courses relevant to neuroscience.
