The Neurasmus program has provided the opportunity to study the brain from different angles. Changing the university for the second year taught me a scientifically but also culturally distinct approach to investigate the function of the brain. In Bordeaux, I learned how the brain is organized on a molecular level. In Amsterdam, I took advantage of the opportunity to delve into clinical neuroscience and deepen my knowledge of fundamental neuroscience. Every university department has its unique teaching focus points and research highlights. It is the diversity of master programs that makes Neuramus special to me. Also, I developed on a personal level enriched by so many encounters with inspiring personalities. I felt welcomed from the start whether it was meeting alumni in Bordeaux or Amsterdam, or second-year master students at our annual meeting. I always felt this hard to describe "Neurasmus connection" instantaneously. Thanks to Neuramus I consider myself, even more, a citizen of the world equipped with the tools to help solve scientific questions as well as societal problems in the future.
