I applied to the Neurasmus program to pursue my interest in neuroscience in leading universities from different countries. I got everything I asked for – and more! Studying this exciting field in renowned institutions in the Netherlands and in Germany allowed me to discover so many new topics and explore my own scientific interests. I got the opportunity to work in great neuroscience laboratories, developing the research skills I need to build my scientific career. Thanks to this international program I was able to experience different academic systems and to develop vital adaptability skills. Above all, the human experience is what makes this program so unique: living abroad, being part of a multicultural cohort, and finally, meeting amazing people.
